Biography

Jacqueline Steiger is known for flying over the fence by her pigtails as Amanda Thripp in Matilda. She loved doing her own stunts and being the resident on set bookworm. You may remember her as Amanda or as Margaret in Dennis The Menace Strikes Again, but she was lucky enough to try acting in commercials, television shows, and new media in the course of her more than 20 years in the industry. As an adult, Jacqueline branched out into production as a writer and production coordinator as well as a webseries and sketch actress.These days she owns Magic Hour Instructional Design, an instructional design company creating curriculum - and video content - for nonprofits and small creative businesses. She loves connecting with fans about all things industry and encouraging young creatives in their success.
